Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 - 3

Day - 1

Drive from Kathgodam to Lohajung
Begin your journey with an 8-hour drive through picturesque landscapes and Himalayan towns.
Witness vibrant sceneries, winding mountain roads, and local markets.
Overnight stay in Lohajung.

Day - 2

Drive to Wan & Trek to Gehroli Patal
Drive from Lohajung to Wan village.
Trek through cypress trees, pay respects at the Latu Devta Temple, and hike to Neel Ganga.
Ascend through oak and rhododendron forests to Gehroli Patal with a view of Mt. Trishul.

Day - 3

Trek to Bedni Bugyal via Ali Bugyal
Climb steeply through oak forests to the rolling meadows of Ali Bugyal.
Witness the endless green landscape, grazing horses, and surreal cloud formations.
A leisurely walk leads to Bedni Bugyal for stunning campsite views.

Day 4 - 6

Day - 4

Excursion to Bedni Top
Acclimatization day with a trek to Bedni Top (12,200 ft).
Marvel at the panoramic views of Maiktoli, Neelkanth, Chaukhambha, and Mrigathuni peaks.

Day - 5

Trek to Patar Nachauni
A gradual ascent from Bedni Bugyal to Patar Nachauni, passing Ghora Lotani meadows.
Enjoy changing landscapes and the thrilling saddle crossing into alpine terrains.

Day - 6

Trek to Bhagwabasa via Kalu Vinayak
Zig-zag climb to Kalu Vinayak (14,500 ft), featuring a black Ganesh shrine.
Trek through snow patches to reach Bhagwabasa’s stone shelters.

Day 7 - 9

Day - 7

Trek to Roopkund & Return to Patar Nachauni
Early morning ascent to Roopkund (16,000 ft), crossing switchbacks and snowy trails.
Discover the eerie Skeleton Lake and learn its mysterious history.
Optional climb to Junargali ridge for stunning Himalayan views.

Day - 8

Descend to Lohajung via Bedni & Wan
Retrace the scenic route through Bedni Bugyal, oak forests, and the Neel Ganga bridge.
Drive back to Lohajung from Wan village.
